Healthy Within is a cutting-edge, state-of-the-art Neurofeedback center run by a seasoned Psychologist and Neuroscientist. We are an Integrative brain health center. With Dr. Kakaiya's background as a expert in brain health and integrative Psychologist, we incorporate multiple ways of balancing brain health conditions. Dr. Kakaiya is trained to be able to suggest recommendations based on genetics testing and micronutrient supplementation. We conduct a thorough brain analysis using QEEG and individually tailor treatments based on the unique needs of each brain that comes our way.
Rady Children's Hospital Outpatient Psychiatry Department provides ambulatory behavioral health services for children and young adults up to 21 years of age. Services are provided to children and their families with social, emotional, and behavioral problems in a variety of care settings including multidisciplinary clinics, urgent care clinic and in collaboration with participating pediatrics clinics.

“Evolve offers a full continuum of care, including Residential Treatment Centers (RTC), Partial Hospitalization (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient (IOP), with locations in Northern and Southern California. We specialize in treating teens, 12-17 years old, who have difficulty regulating emotions, are engaging in high-risk or self-injurious behaviors, or are suffering from suicidal ideation. Our mission is to improve the lives of those with eating disorders and their families by creating, disseminating, and practicing cost-effective, evidence-based treatment.
For 12 years, Paradigm Treatment has been providing residential treatment for teens 12-17 and young adults 18-26 with mental health issues. Our medical and clinical teams delve deep to address the root causes of the struggles young people face in today’s stress-filled world. We work closely with youth and their families’ treating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, mood and personality disorders, and co-occurring substance use. Our teachers address academic issues while experiential approaches such as yoga, meditation, art therapy, and equine therapy empower clients to transform their lives. We also provide therapy and parent/family coaching for parents and loved ones. We work with most commercial insurances, and we are in-network with Anthem and MHN, among others.

The Center has cared for children and strengthened families since its establishment in 1887 and is one of San Diego’s most trusted resources and comprehensive behavioral health programs for children struggling with mental, emotional, and/or behavioral disorders and their families. Since 2015, the Center has been the only residential treatment provider for children age 12 and under in San Diego. With seven program sites anchored by a 12-acre main campus (which houses our residential programs and nonpublic school), the Center serves over 1,000 at-risk and underserved individuals every day.
